For this next part of my 100 Writing Prompts challenge, we have Queen Elyssa, one of my favourite characters to write about, with ‘Future’. This was interesting to write as I got to show quite a few sides to her - her imperious, icy, but incredibly beautiful and mysterious persona as the Immortal Queen, but also a more vulnerable, frightened side - and, as well, her mighty temper (seriously, you don’t want to cross Elyssa). Oh, and it gets very, um, 'Alien’ at one point, you’ll know the bit I mean…! I explored the true horror of her gems, which despite being gorgeous and life-giving, also have a much, much darker, and dangerous, element to them. So: warnings for a bit of gore and blood.
