Notes: Another square from the “101 Crochet Squares” book. It’s basically a traditional granny with two rounds of popcorns. I left off round 7 to get a six inch square.
Notes: This block is way too airy in the center. In round two, I would suggest changing CH7 to CH6 or 5, and in round 5 making CH5 into CH4. I added a round of HDC to make it 6 inches. The center construction is nice, just a bit open. From the book “101 Crochet Squares” by Jean Leinhauser.
Notes: I managed to get my hands on a copy of the Holy Grail of squares books: 101 Crochet Squares by Jean Leinhauser. This is my first square from the book. She used a different way of making a cluster, and her Petal Stitch was new to me so it was a learning experience! I liked how it turned out, though. I added a round of DC to make it 6 inches.
