  • There's quite a bit of noise now about The Beatles remasters, and has a good thread on developments. Apparently, The Beatles music will be finding a digital home on MTV Games' Rock Band, according to . "MTV Games, creator of the hit game Rock Band, and Apple Corps, which owns the rights to The Beatles' music catalogue, announced Thursday (Oct 30, 2008) that they plan to create a title that will feature only music from the Fab Four."

It’s just like the Beatles Remastered Stereo CD box released in 2009. There’s a thin cardboard outer sleeve around the record box itself. As you can see above it has “The Beatles” and an Apple logo printed on the front. This is what’s printed on the rear:

  • Well, that’s about it for now. Hope you enjoyed this. Haven’t had time to open up any of the records or the book. Just wanted to get this up quickly for all to have sneak peek at the new Beatles Remastered Stereo Vinyl Box Set.

Dr. Ebbetts sent out to his many fans, stating that he'd heard some of the new Beatles remasters coming out on September 9, 2009, that they are far superior to his remasters from pristine vinyl, and that he'd no longer be offering his remasters and was abandoning his years-long project. As he said, he only initiated his project of creating remasters because the Beatles CDs on the market, produced in 1988, were inferior.

Having listened to quite a few of these remastered tracks I can say with very little doubt that The Beatles Remasters are the best thing to happen to the music scene since The Beatles. Every track is clean, crisp, and oh so very clear. I've grown up on these songs and have heard them on just about every format and the quality of whats presented here is on par with the most recent releases from the recording industry today, these could have been recorded last week based on the audio. I could go on and on, and no doubt will, but to put it as plainly as I can, you MUST own these.

The Beatles Remasters are welcomed. The sound is superb, comparing with the originals are 7 to 10. The music is eternal. Unique.

A fresh listen to their career output revealed that everything we loved about them was already there on that first LP "Please Please Me" – John's acerbic edge and rock 'n' roll soul, Paul's sweet optimism and pop melodicism, George's old-school guitar chops, and Ringo's swinging drumming and charmingly off-key vocals. The only thing not yet in evidence was their ability to reinvent themselves continuously and carry us along on their fascinating, fun-filled, and fabulous seven-year ride. The Beatles Remastered offers us a chance to reexperience those heady years, those wonderful songs, and those four charismatic and talented young men. For the price of a fine meal with friends or a speeding ticket, you, too, could own all 14 discs. Do you need them? Probably not. Should you get them? Oh yes.
