Adam Feeney got hooked on beats and rhymes in his teens. Awed by the knocking drums and funk breaks of New York rap, the Toronto native started DJing at the age of 15. Feeney began producing and competing in local DJ contests as Frank Dukes, taking his name from the legendary pugilist. Practice led to his first production credit in 2003, a remix for Philadelphia rapper Hezekiah.

Our homie, and Toronto’s own, Frank Dukes is someone you need to get to know. He’s been blazing a trail for himself on the hip hop production side of things working with names like 50 cent, Lloyd Banks, AZ, and Saigon to name a few. Most recently he connected with Ghostface Killah after winning the Redbull big tune battle in 2009. The win landed him studio time to record with Ghost and in the fall of 2010 Pretty Toney asked Dukes to tour alongside him and Sheek Louch as an opening act and Ghost’s personal DJ . Here’s some footage from the tour featuring appearances by Styles P, Raekwon, Cappadonna, and random titties!
