  • The South Euclid-Lyndhurst Historical Society will be given credit as the author of the book, as help will be sought from all members of the 20-member organization. Still, it will primarily be McKimm, whose work includes time as a technical editor, and Frank Sillag, whose background is in engineering, who will be the ones assembling the book.

The Little Red School House has been restored as a museum by the Lyndhurst Historical Society with permanent and changing exhibits. Open 2nd and 4th Sunday, 2-4; other times by appointment.

  • Zacherle spoke to the crowd about his life and career at the Lyndhurst American Legion Post during a talk hosted by the Lyndhurst Historical Society on Oct. 16. More than 80 people packed the steel chairs in the post, leading former historical society director Sylvia Kleff to note it as the biggest turnout for an event held since the society's inception in 1984.

Take, for example, Bob McKimm, assistant curator for the South Euclid-Lyndhurst Historical Society, who compiled the book for Arcadia Publishing along with society member Frank Sillag.
