Politics and Media Development part 4

Even though political development and development politics are two terms that are sometimes used interchangeably, it is useful to point out the difference in their meaning and nuance. Political development refers to the development of politics in a country, while development politics is about the politics of developing countries and the global politics of development. So while the first term focuses on the way political systems have developed over time (especially in developing countries), the second term offers more clues on how a country’s politics influences and affects its development and on the type of relationships between developed countries and international institutions and developing countries.
