  • Whether you looking to loose weight in a healthy way, or simply want to take your current eating habits up a notch, I highly recommend The Little book of Thin. Not only is it a fabulous resource for those looking for a semi-structured approach to weight loss, but there are also some great Foodtrainers tips for Intuitive Eaters like me!

Disclaimer: I received an advanced copy of The Little Book of Thin to review. I was not compensated for this post, and, as always, my reviews and opinions are 100% my own.

This is not your average diet/health book with calorie counting and boring rules. The Little Book of Thin is super fun and easy to read with down to earth and practical tips. I especially love the 10 steps to svelte which sets you up with the basics. It uncomplicates all the dieting drama and healthy eating advice out there. Love it!!!

  • Twas midafternoon, when all through the workplace, All energy was gone without a trace; The salads had been eaten at lunchtime with care, In hopes that weight loss soon would be there; Morning motivation now replaced with dread, And visions of sugar danced in everyone’s head. ~Foodtrainers Lament in The Little Book of Thin

'The Little Book of Thin': How to avoid the dieting booby traps.

A big fan of salads like this (as you well know!), containing three of my favourite ingredients – whatever the season. I am a bit hooked on white miso and stick it in many things – even cornbread! I am with you on the intuitive side (listening to your body), especially as I mainly see cancer patients with some wanting to lose weight post-treatment, and structured is not usually applicable unless it is very tailored to the individual (they sometimes still have cancer but it is managed with meds). My latest weight mgmt workshops have yielded some stunning progress – i.e., two recent folk have lost over 65 pounds between them since October. All hard work by them but lead by listening to their body’s signals and practising mindful eating/daily physical activity. I love the tips you gleaned from The lIttle Book of Thin. I must say, I am kind of put off by the title though. But I imagine it will appeal to many people. And she looks so lovely that she is a great marketer for her product!
