  • For those watching the show from the start (and keeping track of the various villains’ comic book past) it was assumed that Weather Wizard had already gotten his moment to shine in the pilot. In the episode, mastery over wind and precipitation was granted to Clyde Mardon (played by Chad Rook), one half of the infamous ‘Mardon Brothers'; responsible for a number of armed robberies. But when the S.T.A.R. Labs disaster turned the pair’s plane to scrap metal, the other Mardon brother’s fate was never explained.

  • In keeping with the comic source material, it will be Mark Mardon who fully adopts the mantle of Weather Wizard, apparently blessed with the exact same (or similar) powers of his now-deceased brother. With Detective Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) responsible for his brother’s death, it’s safe to assume that Barry’s adopted father will be his prime target. That means he’ll have Central City’s Flash to contend with (assuming by that point as well).
