Daughter to Philip Bleeth (businessman) and Corina Bleeth (former model; died in 1989 of breast cancer), Yasmine Amanda Bleeth was born on June 14, 1968, in New York City, New York. Her parents divorced when she was in her teens. Yasmine has two half brothers: Tristan Bleeth (born in 1986) and Miles Bleeth (born in 1988).
Yasmine Bleeth made a name for herself when she joined the cast of alongside David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson. During her time one the show, she became a sex symbol overnight. However, it didn’t last long. She was kicked off the show after three years because of her drug abuse.
Even as a baby, Yasmine Bleeth, whose nickname is Yaz or Yazmania, was brought before the public when she was featured as a Johnson & Johnson baby in advertisements. As a young girl, she appeared in cosmetic commercials for such campaigns as Max Factor ads, which eventually captured the attention of fashion photographer Francesco Scavullo. Yasmine added acting to her endeavors by making her feature-acting debut in Hey Babe (1980). While she was at the city's United Nations International School, bilingual Yasmine worked on camera as a model and an actress.
“We had one issue with Yasmine Bleeth, who was doing drugs at the time,” he recalled. “And so we were dealing with Yasmine not showing up and having difficulties, again with men. That's why we let Yasmine go off the show: because it was too difficult to deal with her after a while.”
