Off screen, she was sentenced to two years probation on a cocaine-possession charge. She also had to go through regular drug testing, serve 100 hours of community service and pay court costs. Commenting on her cocaine addiction, she said, "It was almost like falling in love... It became my boyfriend, my best friend, my family."

  • Even as a baby, Yasmine Bleeth, whose nickname is Yaz or Yazmania, was brought before the public when she was featured as a Johnson & Johnson baby in advertisements. Yasmine added acting to her endeavors by making her feature-acting debut in Hey Babe (1980). While she was at the city's United Nations International School, bilingual Yasmine worked on camera as a model and an actress.

New York native actress Yasmine Bleeth gained worldwide fame after portraying lifeguard Caroline Holden on the syndicated television series Baywatch Hawaii (1994-1997). Yasmine Bleeth Death Hoax Dismissed Since Actress Is ‘Alive And Well’

In 1993, Yasmine Bleeth followed in the footsteps of Pamela Anderson, Nicole Eggert, and her other well-endowed predecessors to don the famous red Baywatch bathing suit, which she wore for four years. But things went downhill for the actress in real life when she left the lifeguard station; she voluntarily entered rehab in 2000 for cocaine addiction, but was arrested the following year for drug possession. In 2003, she penned an article for Glamour about her addiction and struggles to remain sober; that's the same year as her last credited role, in Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding.
