Zvi Grumet was ordained by Rabbi Joseph B. Soloveitchik and holdsan Ed.D. from Yeshiva Universitys Azrieli Graduate School of JewishEducation and Administration. He is the author of numerous articleson both Tanakh and education, and has edited various publications,including Jewish Education in Transition. Rabbi Grumet is a senior staffmember at The Lookstein Center for Jewish Education where he is theeditor of the Jewish Educational Leadership journal. He is coordinator ofthe Tanakh Department at Yeshivat Eretz HaTzvi in Jerusalem, and is afaculty member at Pardes Institute and at Hebrew College. Prior to hismove to Israel, he taught and played a leadership role in numerous dayschools in the New York area. Rabbi Grumet is a popular speaker foradult, university, teen, and synagogue groups.
Zvi Grumet is Director of Educational Projects at The Lookstein Center for Jewish Education (Bar-Ilan University). In addition, he directs the Bible department at Yeshivat Eretz Hatzvi and teaches at Pardes. He is also on the faculty at Hebrew College and Michlalah Jerusalem. His research interests include educational leadership as well as literary readings of the Bible and the intersection between Bible and philosophy. Zvi earned his Rabbinical ordination and his Ed.D. at Yeshiva University. His most recent book is (Urim, 2014) and his new book, will be published in 2016 by Toby Press.
Zvi Grumet holds a BA in Computer Science, an MA in Jewish Education and is completing his doctorate at Yeshiva University. He was ordained at Yeshiva University.
